Die Hafenlotsen Bremerhaven unterst\u00fctzen Kapit\u00e4ne der gr\u00f6\u00dften Schiffe der Welt in einem der anspruchsvollsten Reviere weltweit. Jeder Hafenlotse ist ein hochqualifizierter Spezialist mit jahrelanger Erfahrung als Kapit\u00e4n, welcher seine navigatorische Erfahrung, Schiffsf\u00fchrungsfertigkeiten sowie die Kenntnis der \u00f6rtlichen Gegebenheiten nutzt, um einen mit hohen Risiken verbundenen Dienst an der \u00d6ffentlichkeit zu leisten.<\/p>\n

Die Hafenlotsen \u00fcben ihre T\u00e4tigkeit im Auftrag des Landes Bremen als Freiberufler aus. Das Einkommen wird ausschlie\u00dflich aus den Abgaben der Schifffahrt f\u00fcr geleistete Arbeit und nicht aus Steuergeldern oder anderen \u00f6ffentlichen Zuwendungen bezogen.<\/p>\n

Die Hafenlotsengesellschaft Bremerhaven garantiert jedem Schiff die st\u00e4ndige Verf\u00fcgbarkeit qualifizierter Berater zu jeder Zeit an 365 Tagen im Jahr. Zu den Schiffen geh\u00f6ren u.a. Hafenlotsen sind speziel geschult um komplexe Verkehrssituation zu verstehen und selbige schnell in ihrem Man\u00f6verpl\u00e4nen aufzul\u00f6sen. Wind-, Gezeiten- und Sichtverh\u00e4ltnisse m\u00fcssen w\u00e4hrend der Planung und Durchf\u00fchrung jedes Man\u00f6vers ber\u00fccksichtigt werden. Die o.g. Aspekte werden gesammelt und beurteilt. Im Anschluss werden notwendigen Ma\u00dfnahmen eingeleitet, um ein fl\u00fcssiges und sicheres Man\u00f6ver im Hafen von Bremerhaven durchzuf\u00fchren.<\/p>\n

Um den in Hinsicht auf Gr\u00f6\u00dfe, technische Ausstattung und Besatzung immer gr\u00f6\u00dfer werdenden Herausforderungen, sowie den fortgeschrittenen Man\u00f6vrierf\u00e4higkeiten folgen zu k\u00f6nnen, ist eine kontinuierliche Fortbildung notwendig.<\/p>\n
